Info

Photography has always been about holding onto or capturing the beautiful: the small, ordinary moments that contain tenderness and sometimes unease. As a child, and for much of my career, I have used my camera to look away from the fear. Now, my fine art work slows the world to reveal memory, vulnerability, and traces of fear.

My work ranges from intimate silhouetted images of children, Shadow Kids (where light, mark-making, and layering of images disclose presence and fragility), to still lifes that set objects or personal relics against spare ground, letting absence and its traces speak.

My studio practice (portraits, families, lifestyle, and products) comes from the same commitments: technical care, empathetic collaboration, and a search for honest, human moments. Across projects I aim to make photographs that hold a precise, felt instant and open onto something larger.
